Light pours in from the outside as I sit typing on this keyboard

Light pours in from the outside as I sit typing on this keyboard,
It is early morning and the sun is just starting to peek out,
Not only will the earliest of birds be chirping the melody I enjoy to hear every day,
Today is the first day of winter!
Temperatures bounce around,
So people can truly only live by each day as the weather can take drastic turns,
Like a weathervane turning,
Our weather turns,
Layer up layer down,
Burn up midday in a turtleneck working downtown.
